What's New for 2024

What's New for 2024

With Spring around the corner and a new year upon us, it's time to announce our newest additions to the bulk seed collection. These will be available for purchase this growing season!

Sweet Hearts Tomato

Sweet Hearts is a bright red, grape tomato with excellent flavor and shelf life. We love it for it's resistance to cracking, it's impressive yield, and the amazing quality. It has been adapted for both indoor and outdoor production, making it a versatile choice for any gardener.

Ruby Crush Tomato

Ruby Crush develops into a deep red fruit, with a smooth, uniform, and firm look. It is a grape tomato with a good flavor profile. If you are looking for a low-maintenance tomato plant, this is a great option as it requires very little to no pruning.

Shaman's Blue Popcorn

The appeal of this popcorn variety is obvious from the start--it is stunning! The first dark blue popcorn hybrid on the market, Shaman's Blue Popcorn is a fun addition to any garden. The dark blueish-purple kernels pop into a naturally sweet and beautifully white popcorn.

Shaman NK199

Back by popular demand, NK-199 sweet corn is one of our favorites! It's a classic sweet corn with a bright gold color and a fabulous flavor. We recommend this variety due to it's versatility--it's great for fresh eating, freezing, or even canning!

Borage

Borage is an absolutely stunning blue flower that attracts bees and butterflies, but is also edible! Borage has been described as having a mild cucumber flavor, and can be used in salads, or as a garnish for drinks and desserts.

Small World of Color Pumpkin

An easy favorite, the Small World of Color Pumpkin seed blend provides up to 6 different colors of pumpkin, all from one packet! These are large pumpkins that come in a coat of many colors--red-range, white, pink, blue, hubbard blue, and peach.

Earth Tones Corn

Earth Tones Corn is a grain corn that can be used as animal feed, or can be ground into flour. It's name comes from the beautiful earth-tone colors that each ear produces. These colors range from shades of gold, mauve, green, blues, browns, and many shades in-between!

If you are looking to try something new this gardening season, these seeds are a great place to start! If you need additional information on growing these vegetables, our updated Vegetable Growing Guide is an amazing resource for gardener's in the Cache Valley area, and it's available online or in-store!

Happy New Year!
