Similar to regular crown broccoli, but harvest the first crown early, then shortly thereafter tender and tasty, dark green side shoots start to appear. Keep cutting for more and more side shoots that continue long into the season. Excellent steamed, sautéed or roasted. Resists bolting better than most varieties, even during hot summer days.
