Champion is a much improved variety of collard greens, superior to Vates. Dark green and large, the cabbage-like leaves retain their eating quality up to 2 weeks longer than other Vates types. Prefers cool temperatures, and performs well in northern climates. Try Champion braised with a touch of olive oil and garlic.
